Nursing beliefs/skills Essay

As my profession through nursing school has advanced in the course of the last more than two years I have been honored with the chance to take part in a huge number of clinical encounters. These clinical encounters have given me significant hands-on information to encourage with my coursework in the homeroom. I accept that experiential learning is one of the fundamental parts of nursing school which recognizes it from different majors. Through my clinical turns I had the option to gain many hours in the clinical setting, permitting me to turn out to be more ready for life after graduation. During my time in the study hall I learned important aptitudes expected to exceed expectations in the nursing calling, yet without my experiential learning I would not have had the chance to consummate these abilities. Going through a few hundred hours in the clinical setting gave personal time to practice and ace these abilities to a level suitable for an alumni nurture. As future development practice nurture I am presently, like never before previously, mindful of the amount I despite everything need to learn. I accept that learning isn't only the fleeting obtaining of information or aptitudes however possibly effectively happens when information and abilities become sharpened and show itself in each part of training. Taking a gander at my future as advance practice nurture, I trust that I will consistently have a basic attention to all the diverse job works in an assortment of conditions. I’ve discovered that various individuals are acceptable at various things so as I plan for my own propelled vocation, I attempt to discover for each extraordinary development practice job, a kindred expert whom I may think about the exemplification of that particular job. From one NP, I may figure out how to be a specialist clinician who flawlessly coordinates information into training and from the following, increasingly about how to be a supporter for a specific populace. From the enthusiastic, lively physician’s aide, I may figure out how to introduce a training issue so as to impact clinical practice changes for the improvement of patient consideration. From the expressive teaming up doctor I may discover that being a specialist doesn't imply that I know all the appropriate responses and that the best patient consideration really spills out of a group which cooperates to help their patients.

Principles of Sociology Essay

In H. Spencer s Principles of Sociology, he compared society to a living being the place its capacities and qualities, for example, development, extension, division and so forth, he accepted, likewise happens in the general public and public activity, hence begetting the term social living being. An epic, in like manner appears as a creature as indicated by Henry James. He contends in the Art of Fiction (a critique to Walter Besant’s address in the regal establishment) that a novel is an individual impression of life. The primary issue of the article is portrayal and how journalists should treat it. James explained that portrayal takes two structures; one is the immediate portrayal, which as per him is restricting, and another is portrayal dependent on a writer’s impression of the experience which he thinks about what the specialty of novel is about. The truth â€Å"colored by the writer’s vision† is the truth of the novel. A creature he accepts best portray the intricacy of a novel in light of the fact that a life form has in itself the singularity and solidarity of capacities. The totality of the life form is needy upon both the freedom and the solidarity of its parts. So also, Freese in â€Å"Henry James and the use of his hypothesis in ‘What Maisie knew’† accepts that James perspective is that â€Å"†¦ it is beyond the realm of imagination to expect to analyze fiction just by its individual parts in light of the fact that these must be viewed as connecting components. †(p. 2) James accepts that the uniqueness of each novel is controlled by the â€Å"liberty of interpretation† managed by the creator. The standards of structure being directed by show just hamper the making of the being that is the novel. The impression of the real world, the individual procedure of understanding an encounter, is a definitive proportion of accomplishing the truth. Therefore, a novel isn't only an item yet an imaginative procedure as in painting and different expressions where each progression adds to the completeness of the art. The essayist has the ability to decide the shape and multifaceted nature of the novel and at last the truth that the novel contains. Every one of these components, as in a life form is dictated by a maker and his concept of portrayal.

Customer Service in the Hospitality Industry - 825 Words

Customer Service in the Hospitality Industry (Case Study Sample) Content: Customer Service in Tourism and Hospitality Organizations Student’s Name University Affiliation Customer Service in Tourism and Hospitality Organizations At the heart of any hospitality organization’s success, lies excellent customer service. This is the critical factor that makes the difference between whether a client chooses a particular organization or its competitors. It is in cognizance of this fact that Castaways Resort has consistently endeavored to offer top notch services to its diverse clientele. However, in spite of significant effort, customer service still remains a challenge that needs to be tackled in such a manner as to maximize both the customers’ satisfaction rate and the organization’s revenue flow. This paper seeks to lay out a plan of action that is intended to solve the problem. First, every single member of Castaway Resort’s management team needs to be seized with the significance of customer service, irrespective of whether they directly interact with clients or not. This is because a leadership culture that is steeped in customer service is guaranteed to send the right signals to employees at all other levels. Such leadership can go a long way in ensuring that a culture of service is deeply ingrained within an organization (Smith, 2012). Consequently, hiring decisions for management roles should incorporate customer service delivery competence as part of the requisite criteria to be met. Secondly, Castaways Resort can leverage customer feedback to adjust its processes in such a way as to suit the changing needs of its clients. It should be noted that with the advent of social media an online networking, information flows seamlessly fast. As such, customers are able to share experiences and seek information from multiple sources. This means that they have a whole array of options in terms of selecting their holiday destination or event venue. It is therefore vital that their sen timents be captured in real time. This input can prove invaluable in terms of keeping in sync with trends in the hospitality industry. One efficient way of achieving this is to use online surveys through which clients can give relevant feedback. In addition, the hotel should incorporate an interactive communication tool in its website so as to register complaints, inquiries and recommendations. It has been asserted that using such means can be helpful in gaining unbiased and meaningful feedback (Bakke, 2013). Thirdly, while Castaways Resort undertakes to hire qualified staff for various job roles, continuous periodic training is of absolute importance. This ensures that a service culture is integrated into all work processes. Such training has to empower staff in terms of professionalism and problem solving abilities. This is especially vital in light of research which indicates that the ability to solve problems and maintain professionalism among hospitality industry staff, leads t o higher rates of customer satisfaction (Edwin & Sheryl, 2013). In view of this, management should engage consultants with a view to developing training programs that are relevant to market conditions. Moreover, staff performance should be periodically audited to assess whether training outcomes have been achieved. This would facilitate corrective action where necessary. In addition, Castaways Resort should develop wellness programs and reward schemes for its employees. This is with a view to boosting morale, which in turn leads to better performance at the workplace. Wellness programs could incorporate both healthy living facilities such as gymnasiums for workouts and consultant health advisory services to facilitate healthy lifestyle choices among employees. In the long term, such a sustainable staff support policy can lead to a healthier workforce that is equipped to handle the stress that accompanies service provision in a high paced environment such as the hospitality industry. Besides, from a purely economic perspective, wellness programs still make sense. For example, previous research indicated that employees, who took part in such programs over a period spanning three years, exhibited approximately 50% reduction in insurance claims on an annual basis (Zhang, Kandampully, & Choi, 2014). Further, reward schemes designed to recognize outstanding performance will motivate staff to aim for higher standards, which would result in higher total productivity and thereby translate to increased earnings for the hotel. Another way to boost the customer experience would be for Castaways Resort to explore opportunities through which it can come to an understanding with tourism service providers in the area so as to ensure customers have access to affordable rates. For example, a memorandum of understanding can be negotiated with K...

Digital Prosperity Understanding the Economic Benefits

Question: Discuss about the Digital Prosperityfor Understanding the Economic Benefits Answer: Introduction Technology industries are characterized by their sophisticated computing control and massive data storage space capacity, enhancing the production of information by combining diverse views of the entity, adding to its competitive advantage increase. Because of the need to transform the economy into figures, accounting has been the key tool in the process and has been applied more efficiently in this process and is issuing appropriate and explicit information for all interested parties. More so the expansion of technology and increased usage of the internet have enhanced new and fast solutions to accountancy and more so cloud accounting solutions. However, internet shared projects, blogs, content sites, social networking sites, online game sites, and online social networks pose accounting challenges in accounting. Challenges of Accounting in Global Organizations The main challenges to the technology industry accounting are business process management, mobile tools, technology of cloud computing, business intelligence, and the enterprise architecture aspect and its application integration. Cloud computing emerged not long ago as one of the major technologies for entities to adopt. It accommodates a wide collection of technologies that are simply looked at as the services facilitated by internet and technology, software and hardware, that maintain them. Like accounting currently, focuses on the current issues to present managers and industry leaders the opportunity to scrutinize and optimize business processes. According to the study conducted by (Atkinson, R, and McKay, A. 2007), the accounting progress has transformed to the era of intelligence and cloud accounting, which involves the current element of technology in business activities which offer the capability to deliver real-time monitoring of business processes. Both platforms share con cepts such as business process, business transactions, and proceedings but with diverse views, while accounting aims at identification, measurement, and communication of economic data to management. In the study of (Bhimani, A. 2008), they found out that given the resources that entities apportion to implementation and maintenance of social media for the entity, management will demand proof of return on investment. However, the (Cinquini, L. and Tucci, A. 2007) showed that cloud computing had dominated most business areas, only that the accounting managers are doubtful about this latest phenomenon. While the study by (Burns, J., Ezzamel, M., and Scapens, R., 2009) concluded that some accountants consider online based accounting as the threat to business returns. Analysis of social media premeditated results is significant since social media platforms facilitate in shaping new products new inventions, develop consumer service, sales, and marketing initiatives. In the study of (Cinquini, L. and Tucci, A. 2007), the researchers concluded that, economically coherent managers will refer to the saying you can't manage what you can't measure' to their company's use of social media. However, the upcoming of the media comparative to conventional methods of communication has enhanced exploratory examination on public media assessment to subject whether conventional financial reports presentation metrics, such as stakeholder understanding, recall, and acquisition, can realistically measure public media premeditated outcomes Creating value is another major challenge in accounting for technology industries. The research conducted by (Burns, J. and Yazdifar, H., 2011) concluded that technology industries should aim at providing platforms for improving service delivery in departments to the company and the entity's departmental requirements. This has been hindered by the emergence of social media, which is thought to be taking a lot of time of the workers that could have been productive. In particular, accountants are interested in these aspects that not accurately captured in financial reports. Big Data Analytics is another challenge to accounting for technology firms. The challenges of big data analytics are; undertaking the required training to develop the necessary skills for initiating and enhancing data analysis activities and changing the current model of auditing to include the necessary auditing requirements. There is amorphous data varying in design, such as basic text, electronic emails, blogs, formatted articles, network explore logs, etc. such data need new techniques to capture, store and analyze data. The huge amounts and expansion of amorphous data swiftly defeat conventional solutions and requires new ways of handling. This kind of data is collected from new areas. Customary data administration processes are unable to cope with the inconsistent character of big data. New approaches put forward techniques to handle the diversity. The study conducted by (Cinquini, L. and Tucci, A. 2007) found out that, to produce higher profits, use of data analytics is a necessary element which enhances a competitive advantage for the entity. The organizations that do not consider data analytics fail in profitability in the long run since in data analytics is the only aspect where change easily occurs. The real value of data analytics is in transactional aspects and the management role. A big number of accounting companies have adopted a paperless company plan and started putting in place the required expertise and advanced solutions to realize this company purpose. Accepting a paperless policy brings more benefits to the firm too. Digitized records make possible for firms to use up-and-coming technology trends in particular mobile technology and cloud computing. New technology and advancements is another challenge in accounting for technology firms, Technology grows swiftly and emerges on media and in other areas. It implies that stakeholders at all levels require technology firms to enhance the implementation of this innovative technology. Accountants require the advanced software to handle the financial data too. However, this new and advanced software are not readily available. On the other hand, technology is currently changing at a high rate. Accountants should assess the economic significance every technology brings to establish if it is profitable to the company and when. In some instances, latest technology e.g. cloud, virtual computing, and mobile computing happen to be tools for practiced accounting managers who recognize their company's priorities. Given that each the institution differs, the technology value of new technology varies with the strategic objectives of each. Enterprise architecture is another challenge for technology industry accounting; it is one of the fundamental aspects that organizations should embody in their components, their associations to one another, including the environment and ideologies embracing its design and development. Accounting information systems must not work individually, however sufficiently incorporated with more information applications for them to become more successful. The study oc (Cinquini, L. and Tucci, A. 2007) concluded that technology companies should consider contemporary approaches when preparing and reporting financial data. The superior challenge with the approach is that it would take more time to accomplish with reporting activities. Successful establishment of an accounting information system relies on technology enhancement, though other scopes must be examined, like stakeholder dimensions, profit motive dimension, and the organizational magnitude Virtualization has shifted and expanded applications from personal computers to servers, to routers, and to firewalls. The virtualization concept provides an advanced level in control such applications than saving organization's resources. This means that the company's infrastructure should have superior servers, in addition to the current expenditure on personal computers. Virtual information centers involve most similar management roles that should be done in the objective server setting. The jobs have to be comprehensive to the cloud environment as well as incorporated into accessible processes. The other aspect is in compliance, audit, and implementation, including daily system administration in dealing with virtualized systems. Virtualization brings unique challenges which are difficult to address with conventional, not- technological particular solutions. Managing an increasing and complex web-based infrastructure, the available present infrastructure and relying on technology sets a weighty demand on staff resources restricted and specific. In addition to these complexities, technology companies still must deliver on the virtualization undertaking of condensed expenses and improved competence. Not to talk on the subject of getting the packed profit of virtualization investment made. Conclusively virtualization technology currently is a pillar to the continuing achievement and the efficient application of information technology advancements. It is imperative that Virtualization enhances extra vibrant data hub while improving virtualized cloud technology to be applied for further industry benefit. Many entities are effectively virtualizing and consolidating as activities go on growing steadfastly, most companies determine how to inspire stakeholder buoyancy and reduce threat even more in their activities and the software mass. The research of (Axelsson, B., Van Weele, A. and Wynstra, F., 2011) concluded that when virtualization technology is enhanced, the processes and decisions to keep an online system on track. Such solutions encompass the growth in the visibility of the application pile and sustaining infrastructure. Visibility should be manipulative, which is to say that you should clearly observe constituent resources and their associations in the virtual atmosphere. Information communications disruptive inventions Currently, that may enable the execution of real-time financial statement preparation, like company process administration, promoting real-time managing of enterprise processes that transmit pertinent financial or non-financial data from company activities to the stakeholders through mobile computing technology, allowing interested parties to instantly obtain the information published at any time and in any place; mobile computing, encouraging the immediate distribution of information amongst all stakeholders internally and externally need it to make well-versed decisions. The research conducted by (Bessant, J., Kaplinsky, R., and Lamming, R. 2012.) showed that trade intelligence, encouraging the production and delivering of extra focused and appropriate information of industry operations to policy makers enabling long-term forecast of the company goals and the administration and optimization of everyday business activities and project planning and project purpose integration, structuring and including diverse systems and the consequent data at hand in the company to allow real-time accounting statement production with extra significance to users. In the research conducted by William J, Kramer, Beth Jenkins and Roberts S. Katz, (2007) it indicated that the developments in ICT sector have been the pioneer and catalyst in addressing the accounting requirements for most organizations. This concurred with the study of (Arnold, N., 2013) which indicated that, technological innovation has accelerated the growth in accounting through software innovations, content development and mobile applications. This is considered a crucial factor in accounting and management effectiveness. However the challenge posed by the researchers is that of productivity when the relevant applications are used considering network applications by different users that share costs. There are diverse universe players involved in the use and application of networks. As a result it is crucial to involve key business strategies to improve productivity. Offer connectivity efficiently; enhance growth of accounting information and the accounting base. This is signifi cant in increasing the accountants opportunities in the sector. The study carried out by Dixon, R. 1998. Accounting for Strategic Management: a practical application. Long-range Planning, 31(2), 272-279 concluded that ICT development will continue to grow, and the most of the households will not shy away from spending on ICT. This means the costs of accessing streams of data will continue to fall in the future. Therefore the low income earners will take advantage of the expansion and growth in information communication technology to increase their incomes. This will facilitate the entry of entrepreneurs in the macro economy. This will in return lead to the demand of new hardware and make it expensive for accountants to manage. This will especially become true due to the emergency of new markets that are key elements in driving innovation. Conclusion These papers a comparison of global challenges of accounting for global technology industries and. It looks into multiple perspectives and complexities, in accounting. The paper presents modern and technical issues presently apprehensive with accounting for global technology for global firms. The article addresses the cloud accounting model from a business-oriented perspective but does not intend to establish economic impacts that are put forward by the approaching shift. The evolution of cloud technology is the beginning. It may grow to be an essential element for reshaping the veracity and understanding globalization as we identify it. When accountants give technology an opportunity to establish its value, the accounting career could in the end act as a global identical entity and transform businesses to efficiency levels. Innovations are key elements in developing the potential of technology organizations globally. However they pose a big challenge to accountants in developing software to accommodate the rapid advancement and growth in ICT, making it difficult for accountants to develop content regarding frameworks and policies too. Therefore it is important to develop inclusive models in the sector too to allow for product extension adapting and segmentation. This will be facilitated by the financial sector and the ICT sectors that need to collaborate in regard to the new developments. This will in turn expand the economic opportunities of a number of countries. References Atkinson, R, and McKay, A. 2007. Its alone manner is different from the modern-day idea and therefor unfastened for unfavorable judgment. The battle between darkness and visible radiation is a major subject in all the plants of William Golding. Strong illustrations of this are found throughout Lord of the Flies. The most obvious is the battle between Ralph and Jack. The characters themselves have been to a great extent influenced by the war. Ralph is the representative of Democracy. Elected as the leader he and Piggy his comrade maintain order and keep a civilised authorities. The strength of Ralph # 8217 ; s character was supported by the power of World War II. Jack, on the other manus, represents dictatorship. He regulations as a dictator and is the exact antonym of Ralph. Jack is representing the Hitler # 8217 ; s and Mussolini # 8217 ; s of the universe. He is what the universe frights and yet follows. This battle is born at the really get downing and escalates till the really terminal. The battle in the book is a negative mentality on life in the hereafter. One other illustration is the argument over the being of the animal. The thought of a beast brings all into a province of helter-skelter exhilaration in which Ralph and Piggy lose control. Ralph and particularly Piggy attempt to convert everyone that there is no such thing as a animal to maintain order. Jack and his choir of huntsmans do all to win support of the Hunt and in making so he becomes an advocator for immorality. This battle between good and immorality is a reasonably clear image of the manner this post-war coevals viewed adult male and his journey through life. This is done through Golding # 8217 ; s consummate usage of fable. Therefor doing it gratifying for all readers. Golding himself stated that the intent of the novel was to follow the defects of society back # 8220 ; to the many defects of human society. # 8221 ; The usage of kids is an highly effectual manner of doing the intent apprehensible to readers of all coevalss. # 8220 ; The thought of puting male childs entirely on an island, and allowing them work out archetypical forms of human society, is a brilliant proficient device, with a simple coherency which is easy understood by a modern audience. # 8221 ; ( Cox 163 ) This quotation mark by C.B. Cox gives us the ground why this novel has survived so long and is so good respected. The kids are left to respond in ways that will prove how close they will resemble modern civilisation. The group at first attempts to piece a type of demcratic authorities in which Ralph is elected leader. At this blink of an eye we see something that is most of import. That is the reluctance of Jack to go the leader. Hydrogen vitamin E and his choir vocalists, which are dressed in black to typify immorality, are instantly separated from the group and labeled as huntsmans. This gives Jack some piece of power and like the dictators of the 1930 # 8217 ; s he insists he have more. The huntsman party is Golding # 8217 ; s victory in giving the first glance of human savageness through the huntsman party. As the huntsman party grows in Numberss the huntsmans have a great thirst for blood and decease. This is how the animal is foremost seen. They become more barbarous and shortly get down to paint their faces to demo how fierce they are. The whole clip Ralph and Piggy the lone rational minds hold become the greatest enemy of the party. They begin to do chants and dances and do all to destruct any order. When Piggy is killed we see the terminal of rational thought and the complete prostration of world # 8217 ; s strength to stay civilized at all costs. Man has become barbarian and has shown a terrifying glance into the hereafter of Democracy. The defect of adult male is revered to as the animal. The thing the male childs were all running off from was what they became and it was lead by the representation of Satan himself, the ruddy hairy Jack. At certain phases in the narrative Golding intentionally makes us bury that these are merely immature kids. Their play and struggle typify the inevitable overthrow of all efforts to enforce a lasting civilisation on the inherent aptitudes of adult male. Golding along with many of the authors of the clip gave pessimistic terminations non merely to their books but to life in general. They showed society in a kind of downward decent which could non be stopped because it is in our nature. The savageness of adult male is used through the usage of the huntsmans. The pessimism is viewed through the stoping. The stoping has been interpreted in many ways but most contain the same thoughts. The thought that there is no hope or world. The narrative takes topographic point in the close hereafter during an atomic war. The kids were being transported off from Britain. The universe had already started to go barbarian and as many people in the coevals said # 8221 ; If universe war three is atomic bombs than universe war four is sticks and clubs. # 8221 ; Obviously the thought of human nature and savageness were in fact really outstanding. Golding uses an first-class thought for the terminal of this narrative. The naval officer comes to deliver the kids from their war with Ralph and are suprised to happen how savage the # 8220 ; English # 8221 ; male childs were moving. At this point we see Ralph get down to shout non for being saved but for world. # 8221 ; The naval officer, who comes to deliver them # 8230 ; His trim patrol car, the sub-machine gun, his white drill, epaulettes, six-gun and row of aureate buttons, are merely more sophisticated replacements for the war-paint and sticks of Jack and his followings. He excessively is trailing work forces in order to kill, and the soiled kids mock the absurd civilized effort to conceal the power of immorality. And so when Ralph weeps for the terminal of artlessness, the darkness of adult male # 8217 ; s bosom, and the decease of his true wise friend, Piggy, he weeps for all the human race. # 8221 ; ( Cox 164 ) Such a tragic position of the hereafter of world and their nature is a perfect window for people to understand how the impact of the war made the universe rethink its moralss and how life was thought of as a penalty in the extreme sense and that there was no hope for the hereafter except fright. This position has since changed but non greatly as one would conceive of. The basic thoughts are still their and modern society may still associate to this novel. The reading may non be exact but from now on world will ever cry for # 8221 ; the terminal of artlessness, the darkness of adult male # 8217 ; s bosom, and # 8221 ; the most distressing # 8221 ; for all the human race. # 8221 ;
